Support the archive
I come from a family of record-keepers. My great-aunt kept journals everywhere she lived — from the coffee fincas of Chiapas to the Arizona desert — and those journals are now historical primary sources in libraries and universities. This archive carries the same impulse.
I am a practitioner myself. I hold this archive by hand — reading each submission, listening to the conversations, and caring for the record as it grows. There is no grant behind this. No sponsor. No organization. Just me, the work, and the conviction that a community’s observations deserve somewhere to be kept.
Running costs are near zero — the archive is hosted free on GitHub. What takes time is stewardship: reviewing contributions, transcribing interviews, and making sure the archive stays clean, searchable, and credible.
If you believe this collective record should exist — whether or not you use it yourself — you can help keep it going.
Every contribution keeps the work moving. Thank you.
